Understanding of popular social media editing techniques
A large video project for YouTuber Captain Kidd. Working as part of a small team of three, I took the lead on the edit, delivering the first 45 minutes before the project was handed off to the other editors. This established the style, which was more edit heavy and grandiose than typical videos on Captain Kidd's channel so it was important to deliver to this standard. Working closely with Kidd and the other editors, I was able to quickly and effectively implement feedback, achieving a polished feature length video that I am proud to be a part of.
The video was well received and praised by commenters for the level of detail presented throughout, and reached over 100,000 views in the first week of release.
