Following a string of successful releases in this popular format, this release was a culmination of all the knowledge I had gained throughout making this style of video. By today’s standard of video I produce, it is rather underwhelming in quality, but with the timing of the release heading into the Christmas period and new content being added to the game, this video had an explosive launch. Today it sits at over 8 million views, my most successful video as a content creator.
While I am proud of the release, with the knowledge I have gained and the skills I’ve developed as a creator, I hope I can one day top it. I now have a much better understanding in post-mortem of why this video succeeded and where I could take it one step further, so as I continue my content creator journey my ultimate goal is to one day top it.
